Personnel

Producer/Director: Sally Hanley, Professor Emerita of History, Franklin College, Indiana. She has been combining history and film for years and now lives in San Francisco doing film full time. Her historical writing is on Scottish legal history which justifies the many visits, long and short, over the years to Scotland and her friends there. The latest Inezdotter film, Holyrood, is a love letter to that country and celebrates Scottish cultural identity through the lens of the 2007 elections to the Scottish Parliament. It is her second film, the first being The Green Bus v. The White House, 2004

Editor: Dan Janos gives blood. Every three months he answers the call and offers up a pint to satisfy an ongoing need. He’s served in the home improvement program for elderly citizens – Christmas in April, biked from San Francisco to LA

for the AidsRide, planted trees with Friends of the Urban Forest, and volunteered in inner city middle schools. As an independent filmmaker, Janos also gives blood (metaphorically of course). His editing credits include; The Green Bus v. The White House - a documentary following Senator Paul Wellstone’s last campaign, Last Flight Home - which chronicles a MIA recovery team looking for downed WWII airmen, and A Few Good Dykes - winner of the SXSW Film Festival Audience Award. Other projects include the film Broke, which won Best Editing from the Williamsburg International Film Festival, lesbianfilm, acquired by the Sundance Channel, and Declare Yourself, where he interviewed college students across the country for Yahoo!’s “get out the youth vote” project. Any blood leftover goes to students at CSU-Monterey Bay, where Janos teaches video production and editing. He’s also taught at California College of Art, San Francisco Art Institute, and the Academy of Art College.
